sound-swim is a creative residence near rio de janeiro for founders, thinkers, and general athletes working on challenging problems across technology, philosophy, and humanity.
the 70-acre property is located just two hours from rio de janeiro and features ten waterfalls. it includes a loft studio nestled in the forest, a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom riverfront house, and an 8-bedroom dorm-style building. additional amenities include outdoor kitchens, mountain-view workspaces, a pickleball court, a steam room and an outdoor fitness facility. the property is home to over 2,700 unique species of animals and plants, nine freshwater springs, two ponds, and more than one million feet of uninterrupted riverfront.
our farm cultivates a diverse array of vegetables, including beans, ginger, cassava, sweet potatoes, squash, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, carrots, and onions, alongside exotic fruits like açaí, cupuaçu, jabuticaba, maracuja, and graviola (soursop). we also grow more familiar fruits such as bananas, raspberries, and strawberries. additionally, we harvest a variety of fresh, sustainably farmed seafood, including tilapia, catfish, whiteleg shrimp, freshwater prawns, and crayfish.
with temperatures ranging between 75°f and 86°f, it’s private enough to offer a drinkable river, yet conveniently close for deliveries and a short trip to the beach.
